The month of May was a busy one for the SkilTech team as it brought on the start of the Independent Professional Baseball season for the our customers, the Can-Am League, Frontier League, and Northern League.

The 2010 season brought with it a new statistician for the leagues in the form of Canada’s Pointstreak Sports Technologies Inc. Along with the normal web development for the teams and leagues, we were tasked with integration of the Pointstreak stats system into each of the league web sites.

The Can-Am League ( and Northern League ( each launched a newly redesigned web site this year, as did the Pensacola Pelicans ( of the American Association.

SkilTech Launches Redesigned Site for Tutoring Works Plus

SkilTech Web Design and Hosting is pleased to announce the launch of a newly redesigned web site for Tutoring Works Plus of Wilmington and Bear, DE.

Tutoring Works Plus came to us with an existing site that was somewhat limited in both design and content. We set out to present their brand in a cleaner, more professional manner. By adding some tasteful color and Flash animation, the site is now on a par with many of their competitors. Additionally, we designed it around a Content Management System (CMS) which allows them to handle the majority of their own site maintenance. They can now accept online registration and payments via Paypal, and maintain several pages of password-protected content for their staff and students.

Visit them at and let them know that SkilTech referred you!
